About us

Mrs Williams, Mrs Freeburn, Miss Cordova and Miss Gregory can be found inside A3 classroom!  We expect everyone in A3 to follow our class rules, that way we are all happy.  

In A3 we work really hard to meet everyone’s individual needs whilst making sure we have lots of fun too.  We work at looking at our emotions and being able to describe how we feel throughout the day.   

We all feel comfortable with a structured routine and timetable.  We also enjoy learning about different topics and explore these through the subjects within our curriculum. It is our aim that we leave Hill Top with functional skills in Maths and English. We all enjoy the subject ‘Creativity’ with Miss Angus on a Tuesday, this also helps with the varied sensory needs we have.  A part of understanding our world is looking at science, geography, history, PSHE and RE. We work hard on our targets especially the ones within our EHCP, these are mainly towards Independent living and Wellbeing.    

We all enjoy a good story in A3 and believe that listening and partaking in the content is a key to understanding the world better. 

The adults in A3 all deeply care for each and every one of us that comes through the door; they strive to live out Hill Top’s motto daily: ‘Believe, Achieve, Succeed’.
